Fifteen years ago, I first sat behind the front desk of a hair salon. I immediately felt at home in this environment and realized this was the business for me. Soon, I went from managing front desks to managing hair salons. During my fifteen year career in the salon industry, I have managed some of the top hair salons in South Florida. As I continued perfecting my managing talents, I began to form a vision of what a perfect hair salon should be. This vision is now a reality with the opening of Salon Monaco in Boca Raton. Services to the clients at Salon Monaco will be unlike that of any other salon in South Florida. Unparalleled service, the center of my vision, will include a coffee bar, exotic teas, and other beverages of choice. The salon, which will provide hair color and cutting services, represents the personality behind me. I want my salon to be sophisticated with a hip and trendy edge. This atmosphere is represented in the sleek, clean lines of the salon and its color palette of chocolate brown and cool green. Enhancing the look are stainless steel appliances. Of course, more than just beverages and a second to none atmosphere are needed at a top rated hair salon and that is why I have assembled an expert team of stylist and colorist. With many years of combined experience, the team at Salon Monaco will leave you with a look to be envied. This team consists of master stylists and color educators. To stay abreast of current trends and techniques, my team attends various courses in hair cutting and coloring. Salon Monaco will carry the latest hair care products of Schwarzkopf, Goldwell, Sebastian, Morrocanoil, Neuma, an organic product line called Onesta and TIGI. We also carry an organic color line. In addition to servicing those of us who are fortunate enough to experience good health, Salon Monaco will offer wig trimming at no charge to cancer patients. My team and I welcome the privilege to serve you and meet all of your hair salon needs. This experience will be second to none, leaving you with the feeling of pride and well-being.

Master colorist and stylist Omar Chacon has made hairdressing his second career in beauty. Originally from Colombia, Omar moved to Madrid to earn a degree from a prestigious fashion school before relocating to Miami to work with a South Beach designer. Double duties as tailor and runway model led Omar to his ultimate passion in the beauty industry: hairdressing.
After establishing himself at one of Miami’s top salons, Omar continued to make learning a priority in his beauty career. First, he became an educator for Bio Ionic, the groundbreaking Japanese straightening system. Next, he completed color training with Schwarzkopf Professional, where he was hand-picked to become an educator for its Master Colorist Certification Curriculum. Omar also became a nationally certified trainer for Keratin Complex, teaching the professional service that is revolutionizing how women and men control their hair texture.
For the past five years, Omar worked in a cutting-edge San Francisco salon/art space, while further showcasing his talents in runway shows, beauty competitions and by attending advanced hair color, cutting and styling courses. Now located back in Boca Raton at Salon Monaco, Omar is once again offering clients his talents as master colorist, stylist, and hair texture specialist. And like all Brazilian, love to look and feel good!!! So making my client look amazing and feeling is what I love about my work.
